Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician


StartDate: ASAP
Available Shifts: Call 24
Pay Rate: $169.75 - $183.75



This facility is seeking an Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.


Details and requirements for this opportunity: 


  • Schedule: 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM), Monday-Sunday; approximately 5 shifts per month.
  • Practice Setting: Inpatient Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Hospitalist. Labor & delivery, OB ED, inpatient gynecology consultations, and emergency gynecologic surgery coverage.
  • Types of Cases: Triage, labor management, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, postpartum tubal ligations, antepartum/postpartum rounds, ER and inpatient consults, D&C, laparoscopy, laparotomy for ectopic pregnancy or adnexal torsion, hysteroscopy, cone biopsy, circumcisions, and surgical assists. Must be comfortable supervising Family Medicine residents.
  • Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
  • Certifications Required: Board Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) required. Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Licensure Required: New Jersey license
