What You’ll Do
- Provide nursing care to float pool patients across medical/surgical and telehealth units
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate and deliver effective patient care
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changing clinical needs on night shift
- Assist with patient assessments and documentation using Epic electronic health record system
- Support staffing ratios of approximately 6 patients per nurse
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
- Assist in patient education and discharge planning as needed
What You Need
Required:
- Active RN license in Louisiana
- Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical and telehealth nursing experience
- Epic EHR experience
- BLS certification
Preferred:
- ACLS and CPI certifications
