What You’ll Do
- Provide routine and complex medical and surgical nursing care for adult patients
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring side-effects and effectiveness
- Conduct patient assessments, documentation, and care planning using the nursing process
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to manage patient progress
- Support patients with orthopedic, abdominal, and spinal surgeries, including joint replacements
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and standards of care
What You Need
- Active RN license in Texas or in a compact state
- BLS certification (AHA)
- At least 1 year of nursing experience in medical or surgical units
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
