Interventional Cardiologist – Weekend Rounding & STEMI Call

Floyd Lee Locums is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for an assignment in Florida focused primarily on weekend rounding and call coverage.

Assignment Details

• Coverage beginning October 2026


• Weekend inpatient rounding, typically 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Saturday and Sunday


• Weekend call from Friday at 5:00 PM through Monday at 8:00 AM


• STEMI call included


• Approximately 18-28 patients per day depending on campus


• APP support available during weekend daytime coverage

Clinical Scope

• Inpatient cardiology rounding


• STEMI management and response


• Cardiac catheterization and PCI


• TEE


• Cardioversion


• Remote and in-person call response as clinically appropriate

Requirements

• Interventional cardiology experience required


• Clear NPDB required


• Current CV


• Required facility attestation form
