PCU Registered Nurse – Columbus, OH | 36-hour/week Shift | $59.18/hour

  • Licenses/Certs: BLS, ACLS (Epic experience preferred)

  • Experience: 1+ year in Telemetry or PCU, float experience preferred

What You’ll Do

  • Manage patient care on the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a focus on telemetry monitoring

  • Perform assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond to patient needs

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

  • Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols

  • Maintain documentation accurately in electronic health record systems (Epic experience preferred)

  • Provide education and support to patients and their families



What You Need

Required:


  • Valid Ohio RN license and BLS, ACLS certifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a telemetry or PCU setting

  • Ability to pass telemetry testing

  • Capable of float responsibilities within OSU campus



Preferred:


  • Experience with Epic electronic health records

  • Experience monitoring telemetry patients and responding proactively
