We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner for an impactful 126-day assignment in Nebraska. Our client is looking for a provider to manage a full-time outpatient clinic schedule, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, dedicating 32 hours weekly to patient care and 8 hours to administrative duties. You will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating common conditions such as anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and trauma within a collaborative behavioral health team.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct comprehensive new patient psychiatric evaluations, typically scheduled for 60-90 minutes.
• Provide follow-up care for established patients during 30-minute appointments.
• Diagnose and manage a variety of psychiatric conditions, including anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and trauma.

• Staffing Mix: The behavioral health team includes a board certified adult psychiatrist, one psychologist, two MSW & LIMHP therapists, and a PMHNP. The team is also supported by a front desk team, an intake coordinator, 1 RN, 2 LPNs, and an office manager.
