What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process within regulatory standards
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, patients, and families
- Delegate and supervise team members to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and organizational policies
- Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly
- Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives
What You Need
- Required: Current Louisiana RN license, BLS certification, 2+ years NICU experience
- Preferred: NRP certification, Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, cultural competence, good judgment, interpersonal skills, self-directed with good time management
