What You’ll Do
- Manage an independent caseload across outpatient, inpatient rehab, and acute care settings
- Provide patient-centered therapy for individuals with spinal cord injuries, TBI, strokes, amputees, and other complex conditions
- Assist patients with orthopedic, neuro, and sports medicine diagnoses, including postoperative and non-surgical cases
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Document patient progress in EMR systems such as Meditech and Wellsky
- Support department goals to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Participate in a general hospital orientation and department-specific training sessions
What You Need
Required:
- Current Louisiana PT license
- Ability to independently manage a caseload with experience in specified patient types
- Working knowledge of EMR systems (Meditech, Wellsky)
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
Preferred:
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Previous outpatient and inpatient rehab experience
- Experience working with medically complex or debilitated patients
