What You’ll Do
- Decontaminate surgical instruments, including scopes, drills, and DaVinci tools
- Assemble instruments for all service lines, including trauma, loaners, and peel packaging
- Operate sterilization processes such as sterrad and steam sterilizers
- Perform high-level disinfection (HLD) of scopes and surgical instruments
- Manage sterile storage area and maintain Censitrac tracking system
- Collaborate with OR staff as an OR liaison, ensuring efficient instrument flow
- Maintain Medivator equipment and ensure compliance with sterilization standards
What You Need
Required:
- Certification: CBSPD or CRCST (via HSPA), or Medivator experience
- Prior sterile processing experience, especially with all department areas
- Proven knowledge of sterilization procedures and high-level disinfection
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 3PM-11:30PM
Preferred:
- Experience with Censitrac system
- Prior work in trauma or busy hospital environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
