What You’ll Do
- Provide direct physical therapy services to home health clients in accordance with care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update patient care strategies
- Assess patient needs using appropriate rehabilitation equipment such as splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, and ADL equipment
- Administer modalities and therapeutic exercises to promote recovery
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with team members and family
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including passing fit tests for mask use
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and safety instructions
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts
- Home Health Certification
- Ability to pass a fit test (use of N95 mask)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred:
- Previous experience working in home health specialty
- Ability to work independently in a home setting and adapt to diverse patient needs
