We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 65-day assignment in Kentucky. The role involves managing an 8:00am - 4:30pm shift, encompassing responsibilities such as supervising advanced practice providers, rounding in the infirmary, conducting sick calls, and managing both chronic and preventative care procedures, including trauma triage and charting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• May supervise APPs
• May round in infirmary
• Sick Call and rounding
• Running chronic and preventative care procedures and follow ups
• Preventative care clinics
• May be called upon for infirmary rounds for internal medicine cases
• Trauma triage
• Charting notes
• Med refills
• Med non-compliance with patients

Additional Information

• Shift hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• The provider will be seeing bread and butter primary care cases, chronic care cases (asthma, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia), preventative care cases (annual physical exams), sick calls (runny nose, headaches, back pain), and may be expected to perform splinting and suturing, and provide foot clinics and infirmary care.
