We are seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to join our client's team in Alaska for a 120-day assignment. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, and involves managing a diverse patient panel while providing comprehensive primary care and some urgent care services, including women's health and chronic disease management.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage a primary care patient panel population.
• Provide some urgent care, including procedures like fish hook removals.
• Serve a rural / Indian health Alaska population.
• Perform suturing, splintering, women's health procedures such as pap smears, pelvic exams, IUD removal and insertions.
• Manage bread and butter primary care scheduled appointments with complex chronic disease management including Diabetes, hypertension, asthma, hyperlipidemia, COPD, chronic pain, and foot care.
• Potentially see pediatric patients.

• Staffing Mix: CMA, RN, Case Manager, one to two MDs, one PA, and one walk-in (UC) PA to triage the walk-in clinic.
