What You’ll Do
- Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage on a flexible, PRN basis
- Respond to rapid responses and emergencies in the adult inpatient setting
- Collaborate with a team of 5–6 providers, including physicians and APPs
- Attend to patients in the hospital's ICU and PCU units
- Participate in patient care, response to codes, and urgent Covid-related issues
- Document patient encounters accurately using Epic EMR software
- Support ICU patients with intensivist oversight when available
What You Need
Required:
- Active Wisconsin Medical License (or ability to obtain)
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- DEA license
- Minimum 10 patients documented in inpatient or outpatient hospital services in past two years
Preferred:
- Prior inpatient hospital experience
- Ability to drive to shifts (shifts may not be block scheduled)
