Description Job Title Physician/Doctor ? OB/GYN Location Florence, SC | Acute Care / Inpatient Schedule / Job Type Contract | Weekend Coverage (Friday 7:00 AM ? Sunday 4:30 PM) | Locum Tenens Key Responsibilities - Provide OB/GYN call coverage every weekend, beginning January 1, 2027 - Perform inpatient rounding and select consultations throughout the weekend shift - Manage patient phone calls and respond to nighttime emergency pager as needed - Cover unscheduled deliveries as needed, with an expected volume of approximately 8?12 deliveries per weekend - Collaborate with OB Hospitalist support; expected checkout coverage provided - Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR Required Qualifications - Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in OB/GYN - Active South Carolina Medical License required - Prior OB/GYN experience required - Must be comfortable with inpatient rounding, consultations, and unscheduled delivery coverage Preferred Experience / Skills - Experience working in a large, high-acuity hospital setting - Familiarity with Level 3 NICU environments and coordination with Neonatology teams - Experience working alongside Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists - Proficiency with EPIC EMR Why Join Us - Opportunity to work at a large 517-bed facility featuring a 52-bed Level 3 NICU with on-site Neonatologists and Maternal Fetal Medicine support - Structured weekend-only schedule with no continuous in-house requirement and no scheduled surgical cases, offering a manageable and predictable workload Please reference Job number: 318288 * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
