PCU Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit - Columbus, OH

  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS required

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of PCU experience

What You’ll Do

  • Provide high-quality care for patients in a lower acuity cardiac unit

  • Monitor and assess patient conditions using telemetry and other tools

  • Administer medications, including conscious sedation, and perform IV starts

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures

  • Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed within the facility

  • Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC electronic health record system


What You Need

Required:


  • Valid Ohio RN license

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in PCU or similar setting

  • BLS and ACLS certifications

  • Strong skills in telemetry, IV starts, and conscious sedation



Preferred:


  • Cardiac experience
