What You’ll Do
- Screen, evaluate, and develop treatment plans for patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
- Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment strategies accordingly
- Provide counseling to patients, families, and caregivers on speech and swallowing therapies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members on patient care plans
- Document treatment sessions, outcomes, and discharge summaries in compliance with all regulations
- Supervise and support CFYs or Student Speech-Language Pathologists
What You Need
- Required:
- Active ASHA certification and State Licensure
- Prior experience in speech pathology, especially in long-term care or similar settings
- Preferred:
- Experience with cognitive and swallowing disorders
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
