We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for an upcoming locum tenens opportunity in Grand Forks, North Dakota. This assignment offers a mix of clinic, inpatient, outpatient, and call coverage in an established hospital setting.

• Dates Needed: December 28, 2026, at 7:00 AM – January 4, 2027, at 7:00 AM

    

• Coverage: Clinic and call

    

• EMR: Epic

    

• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 45 days

    

• Temporary Privileges: May be available for qualified candidates who can start immediately

    

• Provide clinic, inpatient, and outpatient cardiology services.

    

• Support elective procedures and inpatient needs as required.

    

• Participate in call coverage during the assignment.

    

• Perform and interpret EKGs, TEEs, and echocardiograms.

    

• Perform PCI/stent placement and manage STEMI cases.

    

• APP support available during the week from 8:30 AM–4:30 PM.

    

• Patient volume and caseload may vary based on clinical needs.

    

• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology required.

    

• Active North Dakota medical license strongly preferred for immediate needs.

    

• Candidates with an active IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand will be considered if they have a clean background.

    

• Must be available and prepared to commit to at least two coverage stretches.

    

• Candidates seeking temporary privileges must meet strict background requirements. No background cases are permitted, including dismissed cases or cases in which the candidate was named.

    

• Short-term locum tenens assignment in North Dakota.

    

• Diverse clinical responsibilities across clinic, inpatient, and outpatient settings.

    

• Established clinical team with weekday APP support.

    

• Epic EMR environment.
