What You’ll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to critically ill patients in the MICU setting
- Monitor and manage multisystem organ failure, respiratory failure, COVID-19, sepsis, post-cardiac arrest, DKA, liver failure, and renal failure cases
- Administer medications and treatments, including IV starts, ventilator management, and telemetry monitoring
- Utilize EPIC documentation system accurately and efficiently
- Operate specialized equipment, including NxStage CRRT, Alaris IV pumps, GE cardiac monitors, and ventilators
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient progress and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
What You Need
- Required:
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system
- Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only)
- Skills in IV placement, telemetry, ventilator management
- Preferred:
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Experience with multisystem organ failure and respiratory support technologies
