What You’ll Do
- Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Room and Med Surg units
- Assess patient condition and prioritize care needs
- Administer treatments, medications, and interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Document patient information accurately in Cerner EMR system
- Support crisis nursing as needed during shifts
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (through AHA)
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Kansas RN license or ability to obtain one
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (through AHA)
- Minimum 1-2 years of ER and Med Surg experience
- Ability to work 36 hours/week days on a rotation, including every 3rd weekend
Preferred:
- Experience working in a critical access hospital setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
