Description JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: RN – PCU/Tele • Profession: RN • Specialty: PCU/Telemetry • Job Type: Contract • Location: Louisville, KY • Schedule: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM, 12-hour day shifts • Weekends/Holidays: Every other weekend per unit need • On-Call/Callback: Not specified • Straight Shifts: Day shifts only JOB REQUIREMENTS • Active Registered Nurse license • Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient PCU RN experience • Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) • Epic experience required • BLS required • ACLS required • NIHSS required • English proficiency required DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform patient assessments and reassessments according to policy, procedure, and patient condition. • Make sound independent clinical decisions and prioritize patient care needs. • Initiate, implement, review, and revise individualized plans of care. • Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. • Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions. • Provide and coordinate patient and family education throughout hospitalization and at discharge. • Delegate tasks appropriately to licensed and non-licensed personnel. • Serve as a mentor and preceptor as assigned. • Promote teamwork and identify opportunities for quality, safety, and service improvement. • Participate in Practice Governance activities and implement changes in clinical practice. • Comply with applicable regulatory and organizational standards. * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
