What You’ll Do
- Decontaminate surgical instruments including drills, scopes, and DaVinci devices
- Assemble instruments across various service lines, including trauma and loaner sets
- Operate sterilization equipment (Sterrad and steam sterilizers) and process HLD/scopes
- Manage sterile storage and inventory tracking
- Act as a liaison with OR staff, ensuring timely instrument availability
- Utilize the Censitrac tracking system to monitor sterilization processes
- Maintain compliance with all sterilization protocols and safety standards
What You Need
Required:
- CBSPD or CRCST certification (or Medivator experience)
- Prior experience with sterilization processes and decontamination workflows
- Knowledge of Censitrac or similar tracking systems
- Ability to work in a high-volume, trauma hospital setting
Preferred:
- Experience with all elements of sterile processing, including decontamination, sterilization, and instrument assembly
- Experience with OR liaison duties and managing complex instrument sets
