What You’ll Do
- Decontaminate surgical instruments, scopes, and specialized equipment
- Assemble instruments for all surgical service lines, including trauma and loaner sets
- Operate sterilization equipment (sterrad and steam sterilizers)
- Manage high-level disinfection and scope reprocessing
- Maintain sterile storage and inventory control
- Collaborate with OR staff and serve as a liaison for sterile processing needs
- Use Censitrac tracking system to ensure proper documentation and traceability
What You Need
Required:
- Certification in sterile processing (CBSPD or CRCST)
- Prior experience working with decontamination, sterilization, and instrument assembly
- Ability to work night shifts and float to other facilities within the organization
Preferred:
- Experience with high-volume hospital environments, particularly Level One trauma centers
- Knowledge of Censitrac or similar tracking systems
