What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication functions.
- Help residents better understand others through communication techniques.
- Lead, guide, and deliver speech-language pathology services in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Assess residents’ needs and prepare individualized therapy plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
- Educate residents and families on treatment goals and progress.
- Contribute to maintaining compliance with nursing home regulations and standards.
What You Need
Required:
- Valid, unrestricted license in speech-language pathology for Missouri
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations and guidelines
Preferred:
- Prior experience working in long-term care settings
