What You’ll Do
- Perform right and left heart catheterizations, including ventriculography and angiography
- Manage procedures such as PTCA, DCA, atherectomy, IVUS, coronary stent placement, and more
- Support inpatient consultation and read Echos and EKGs for unassigned patients
- Take STEMI call and participate in emergency interventions
- Work closely with RNs and other cardiologists in a collaborative lab environment
- Support inpatient rounding as required
- Provide expert care for patients across a wide age range
What You Need
- MD or DO board certification in cardiology
- Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology
- Illinois medical license or willingness to obtain one
- ACLS certification
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong procedural skills in invasive cardiology and emergency response
