Pay & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour

What You’ll Do:
- Provide high-quality emergency care for an average of 90-100 patients daily in a busy ER setting
- Collaborate with a team of physicians and mid-level providers to stabilize and treat patients
- Manage open ICU cases and participate in critical decision-making
- Document patient care using Meditech 6.1 EMR system
- Handle diverse emergency cases within a full-spectrum ER environment
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
- Contribute to a positive, patient-centered care experience
What You Need:
Required:
- Medical license valid in North Carolina
- Enrollment in NC Medicaid and PECOS
- Experience in emergency medicine, acute care, or related fields
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a flexible schedule
- Strong clinical skills and teamwork mentality
Preferred:
- Prior experience in ICU care
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
About the Assignment:
This shift is based at a hospital with an open ICU capacity, serving approximately 32,000 annual patients. The facility provides a supportive environment where emergency physicians work in tandem with a dedicated medical team. The position involves solo ER coverage during 12-hour shifts, focusing on efficient and compassionate emergency care delivery.
