Position Overview

Provide OB and GYN call coverage, including management of laboring patients and inpatient OB needs.

Coverage Needed

Call coverage: July 31, 2026 at 7:00 AM through August 3, 2026 at 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

Provide call coverage for OB and GYN patients.

Respond within 30 minutes when called; on-site presence is not required while on call.

Document care in the EMR (Epic).

Required Qualifications

Board certified OBGYN.

Active North Carolina medical license.

Active North Carolina DEA.

BLS and NRP.

Clinical Details

Procedures may include C-sections, hysterectomies, postpartum tubals, vaginal deliveries, D and C, and laparotomy for ectopic pregnancy.

Call is shared with other providers (1:3 call schedule noted on the order).
