What You’ll Do
- Provide expert critical care for cardiac ICU patients, including post-operative cardiac surgery care.
- Monitor patient conditions using advanced telemetry, ventilators, and other critical devices.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and sedation in accordance with protocols.
- Manage complex medical equipment such as Swan-Ganz catheters, balloon pumps, and PA lines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity as needed.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and safety standards.
What You Need
- Active Ohio Registered Nurse license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
- Strong skills in IV starts, telemetry, vent management, and sedation
- Preferred: prior travel or agency ICU experience
