   JOB REQUIREMENTS
  

  

    
• Licenses: Active CA license

    
• Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible

    
• DEA: CA DEA with Schedule II/IIN

    
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA)

    
• Experience: Minimum 2 years anesthesiology experience, recent tertiary care center experience, solo practice, trauma experience preferred

    
• Other Qualifications: Ability to work solo, experience with CRNA oversight preferred

  

   DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  

  

    
• Provide anesthesia care for a mix of outpatient and inpatient surgical cases across multiple UCSF sister sites.

    
• Work predominantly solo in the operating room, with occasional oversight of CRNAs.

    
• Perform regional anesthesia as needed (preferred but not required).

    
• Float between high acuity inpatient centers and ambulatory surgery centers.

    
• Exclude cardiac, liver, and neuro cases; focus on general and regional surgical anesthesia.
