Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum Registered Nurse – Columbus, Ohio

  • Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

  • Hours per Week: 36

  • Employment Type: PRN / Per Diem

  • Licensure/Certifications: Valid RN License, BLS, IV Certification, IV Start Skills, Labor & Delivery Experience

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years postpartum experience



Pay & Benefits:


  • Pay rate: $55.90/hour

What You’ll Do:


  • Provide expert postpartum and couplet care to new mothers and infants

  • Monitor vital signs and physical status of patients in postpartum unit

  • Administer medications and IV therapy following best practices

  • Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans

  • Educate families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care

  • Document patient progress accurately in EPIC EMR system

  • Float to similar acuity units as needed, ensuring seamless patient care



What You Need:

Required:


  • Valid RN license in Ohio

  • Minimum 2 years postpartum experience

  • BLS certification

  • IV certification and IV start skills

  • Experience with labor and delivery

  • EPIC EMR experience



Preferred:


  • Previous travel nursing experience
