What You’ll Do

  • Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans following clinical standards and regulations

  • Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support interventions

  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatments as needed based on outcomes

  • Provide counseling and education to patients, families, and caregivers

  • Document all services accurately in digital records, including treatment minutes and progress notes

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and training sessions

  • Support and supervise CFYs or Student Speech-Language Pathologists as required


What You Need

Required:


  • Active ASHA and State Licensure

  • Experience in speech therapy, preferably in long-term care settings



Preferred:


  • Experience with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorder treatment

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
