What You’ll Do
- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on inmate records and clinical interviews
- Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans tailored to inmate needs
- Document treatment activities and evaluations in confidential health records
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to address immediate inmate needs
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques
- Collaborate with facility staff to support inmate mental health and safety
What You Need
Required:
- Valid LCSW, LPC, or LMFT licensure
- Social security card and driver’s license for facility clearance
- Open availability to accommodate scheduling needs
Preferred:
- Previous experience in mental health assessment and treatment within correctional or institutional settings
- Strong communication and crisis management skills
