Description Gastroenterology Locums Job in Missouri | Call Only | November 20 - January 30 | Assignment #112626 Coverage Details -- November 20 - January 30 -- 1 FTE needed (will consider 2 part-time providers) -- 5-11 shifts per month -- Credentialing time frame: 90 days (Temporary privileges available) Shift Details -- 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) -- Call only coverage (Beeper call with a 30-minute response time) -- Call ratio: 1:3 -- Callback rate: 100% -- Average volume per 24 hours: 0-5 phone consults, 0-3 patients seen, 0-2 admissions Requirements -- Board Certified in Gastroenterology -- Active Missouri license or active IMLC -- Active ACLS -- Active ATLS -- Active BLS Required Procedures / Skills -- Upper GI endoscopy: biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection of varices -- Esophageal dilatation / manometry and interpretation -- Small bowel biopsy -- Lower GI endoscopy -- Sigmoidoscopy: flexible, rigid -- Colonoscopy: biopsy, polyp excision -- Liver biopsy -- Sengstaken/Blakemore tube insertion/management Assignment Details -- ERCP and EUS not required for ED or clinic call -- Facility designations: Stroke-certified hospital, Level 2 Pediatric Trauma -- Support staff: 4 RNs, 4 MAs, 1 APP -- EMR: Epic Jackson and Coker offers: + Weekly Direct Deposit + Top Rated Malpractice Insurance + In-House Travel Agency + 24/7 Recruiter Availability + Experienced In-House Privileging Coordinators Experience why Jackson and Coker has been recognized by Forbes and Staffing Industry Analysts for our commitment to service excellence.
