JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or ABFM/ABIM with ATLS, ACLS, PALS
  
• Licenses: Active Ohio license and DEA
  
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
  
• Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, PALS required
  
• Experience: At least 1 year of ED experience within the last year
  
• Other Qualifications: 2 years of case logs demonstrating EM procedures/cases; clean malpractice history
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide coverage for 6-8 shifts per month in a rural emergency department.
  
• Manage 12-hour shifts (8a-8p or 8p-8a) as the sole physician on duty.
  
• Evaluate and treat approximately 17 patients per day, including admissions, observations, and transfers.
  
• Respond to inpatient codes as needed.
  
• Collaborate with limited specialty backup including surgery and cardiology.
