This Gastroenterology Locum Tenens position is located in VirginiaLocation: Central Virginia (Inquire for specific location)
Duration: December - ongoing 6-12 month locum assignment
Open Dates: 12/14/26, 7a - 12/21/26, 7a and 12/28/26, 7a - 01/04/27, 7a
01/11/27 - ongoing 7 on 7 off
Schedule: Monday 7a- Monday 7a, 7 on / 7 off
Shift: Monday - Sunday, 7a-7p + pager call 7p-7a
Call: weeknight 7p-7a pager call
Patient volume: Average 12 patients/day. 8 Scopes, 5 OP, 3 IP, 6 ERCP per week
Scope: GI Hospitalist – ERCP/EUS required
EMR: Clinic: Athena | Inpatient: Meditech
Hospital: Not-for-profit, 255 beds
Group/support: NP for inpatient
Requirements (boards, license): Board Certified GI; VA license and DEA, clean NPDB (open to look at non-licensed for 2027 dates)
