Description

We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician for an outpatient locum tenens opportunity in Alabama. This is an immediate need for approximately three months, offering a consistent weekday schedule and support from an experienced clinical team.

Overview

  • Outpatient Community Health Center

  • Start ASAP, 3 months assignment with option to extend

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

  • Potential for four 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday

  • Up to 25 patients per day

  • All ages

  • Primarily scheduled appointments, with walk-in patients

  • Call: None

  • Support staff includes 2 medical assistants and 2 office staff members

  • Travel and lodging available

  • Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 3–4 weeks


Requirements

  • MD or DO

  • Board Certified in Family Medicine

  • Active Alabama medical license

  • DEA registration

  • BLS certification
