Description Holiday + Ongoing Neurosurgery Spine Locums Job Needed in Ohio Seeking a Board Certified Neurosurgeon for 24-hour call coverage at a Level II Trauma Center in Ohio, with holiday dates available and ongoing coverage needs. The assignment includes inpatient rounding, consults, and urgent/emergent cranial and spine cases, with APP, ICU, and hospitalist support; an active Ohio license is required and spine fellowship training is highly preferred. Dates needed: December 24 - December 18 am and December 31 - January 4 am + ongoing afterwards Job Details: --24-hour Call Neurosurgery coverage --Shifts: 7am - 7am --Work setting: OR, Inpatient rounds/consults, and call coverage --Average call volume: 5-10 per day Clinical Scope: --Spine and cranial cases --Trauma required --Elective and emergent cases --Case volume and inpatient census varies weekly --Daily responsibilities: Round on inpatients, Perform Urgent/Emergent Surgeries on inpatient / New admitted patients from ED/Outside --Transfers --Procedures Required/Preferred: Craniotomy, Craniectomy, Spine Interventions Facility Details: --Level II Trauma Center --EMR: Epic --Two Neurosurgeons on staff --APP support available for locum --ICU and hospitalist support --Dedicated OR block time available Candidate requirements: --Vaccinations required --Board Certified in Neurosurgery required --Spine fellowship highly preferred -
