Clinical Responsibilities

Provide Routine Hospital-Based Pathology Services
Review and Interpret Endoscopy Specimens
Evaluate Bone Marrow Specimens
Perform Non-Gynecologic Cytology Interpretation
Evaluate Needle Core Biopsy Specimens
Review Breast, Liver, and Lung Biopsy Specimens
Perform Fine Needle Aspiration Adequacy Assessments During Procedures
Provide Hematology Consultations
Perform Specimen Grossing Independently
Evaluate and Interpret Pathology Specimens
Prepare and Finalize Pathology Reports
Document Findings in Epic
Provide Pathology Coverage Across Two Hospital Locations

Board Certified in Pathology - Required
Minimum 1 Year of Clinical Experience in Pathology - Required
Active Pennsylvania Medical License - Required at Submission

Experience With Routine Surgical Pathology
Experience With Non-Gynecologic Cytology
Experience Evaluating Bone Marrow Specimens
Experience Interpreting Needle Core Biopsies
Experience Performing Fine Needle Aspiration Adequacy Assessments
Experience Providing Hematology Consultations
Must Be Comfortable Performing Independent Specimen Grossing
Must Be Comfortable Working Independently
Must Be Willing to Rotate Between Two Hospital Locations
