Description Come to Coastal Maine, where you can live and work in a Beautiful, New England College Town! – A community hospital near Portland is seeking a Board Certified (or Board Eligible < 3 years) General/Adult Psychiatrist to join its inpatient service in a full-time role. In addition to working with another Psychiatrist on the inpatient unit, duties will also include consults to med/surg units and the hospital’s emergency department. Internal Medicine Hospitalists are available for consults to Psychiatry for patients with complex co-occurring medical issues. ECT certification is desirable; willingness to obtain certification required. Call is very reasonable, and night call is 99% by phone. Salary and benefits are very generous! This is one of the most beautiful locations in all of coastal Maine, and is a great place to live and work. Schools are excellent, neighborhoods are safe, and outdoor activities abound.
