The Supervisor Nursing Unit (SNU) is responsible for: daily operation of the unit(s), supervision and assignment of all patient care team members, follow through on all clinical issues and verbal discipline/ coaching with follow up documentation. The SNU coordinates performance appraisal data gathering, develops and supervises unit participation in quality improvement, assesses staff need for education and provides hands on patient care coaching.
