Standard Qualifications: POSITION SUMMARY The Division Centralized CVIR (Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology) Compliance Manager is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of CVIR charge system connections, revenue compliance, chargemaster coding compliance and regulatory requirements. The Division Centralized CVIR Compliance Manager is responsible for designing, implementing and managing the Centralized CVIR Charging department. These activities include: policy and procedure development, physician and staff education and ensuring charges for the Central West Texas Division are in alignment with physician documentation. The Division Centralized CVIR Compliance Manager also ensures all CVIR procedures are charged to meet the standards and practices set forth CMS/AMA, Departmental, and Hospital Policies & Procedures. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary of medical ethics. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES · Ensures the Division complies with all regulations related to CVIR charging/coding. o Sets the standard of quality across the Division for CVIR charging and coding. o Develops policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services. o Develops and reviews annual department goals, objectives and plans for new projects with respect for cost, quality, and service. o Communicates any chargemaster needs to the respective departments and/or the Chargemaster Team. o Ensures all procedures are charged and coded correctly in accordance with physician documentation and regulatory requirements. o Communicates issues with physician documentation to the respective CVIR Department and/or engages directly with physicians when appropriate. · Contributes to the effective management and growth of the Revenue Compliance Team. o Actively encourages staff to participate in the development and planning of department goals and objectives. o Participates in team building and self-improvement activities · In collaboration with Human Resources, hires and directs departmental staff in the performance of their duties. o Adheres to personnel policies in the recruiting, hiring, directing, counseling, and evaluating of staff in their duties. o Identifies team developmental opportunities to promote team excellence · Demonstrates understanding HCA's and "Patients First" safety initiative by strict compliance to all safety protocols and procedures. · Manage any Revenue Compliance projects given by Division Revenue Compliance Director.
