Description Standard Qualifications: The Performance Improvement Senior Director Operations Improvement is directly responsible for the execution of corporate operations improvement strategies at the facility and division level. This is accomplished by ensuring organizational alignment in the core function of operations. The Senior Director Operations Improvement provides specialized support in this key focus area to ensure consistency in approach and execution across the company. The Senior Director Operations Solutions is responsible for the identification of performance variations and opportunities; providing oversight to subsequent plans and driving execution. The Senior Director Operations Improvement executes the performance improvement strategic vision by collaborating with PI Division VPs and Senior Directors of Operations to ensure execution at the local level and alignment across the organization. This position collaborates with corporate clinical and operational service line leaders to develop and/or identify best demonstrated practices to improve operational performance. The Senior Director Operations Improvement interfaces as needed with other corporate departments such as Clinical Services Group, Surgical Operations and HealthTrust Purchasing Group. The Senior Director Operations Improvement must possess strategic vision, excellent communication skills, proven motivational capabilities, have an executive presence, and a demonstrated track record of delivering results and attaining goals. - Executes the defined PI Operations strategic agenda. - Coordinates and integrates data and analyses for opportunity and performance review. - Develops and maintains effective working relationships with PI group/division leadership, division and facility leadership, Clinical Services Group, Surgical Operations and HealthTrust Purchasing Group. - Collaborates with Clinical Services Group, Surgical Operations and HealthTrust Purchasing Group leaders to rapidly identify, curate and scale best practices across the company. - Leads performance review calls for operations with PI peers across the organization. - Collaborates with division and corporate groups to ensure consistency in approach and execution of operations performance improvement strategies across the company. - Manages indirect reports in multiple designated divisions remotely and in a matrix environment. - Coordinates division and corporate resources to ensure successful execution of established operations performance agenda. - Facilitates Rapid Design Sessions to identify performance opportunities and process improvements, including identification of best demonstrated practices. - Prioritizes PI operations work based upon the needs of the business and in accordance and alignment with company strategy. - Effectively negotiates and balances the needs of facility, division and group operations. - Serves as primary consultant to facility and division senior executives in performance improvement and implementation teams. - Drives business decisions through the use of analytics. - Drives improved operational outcomes through the development and deployment of standard toolkits, processes and clinical assessments. - Facilitates projects and conversations with Performance Improvement-focused peers in divisions and contributes to enterprise best practice library. - Recommends changes or improvements based on research and evidence to implement clinical best practices. - Works with PI Leadership to adjust PI strategies to respond to changing business needs - Develops and maintains effective working relationships with PI group/division leadership, division and facility leadership, Clinical Services Group, Surgical Operations and HealthTrust Purchasing Group. - Collaborates with Clinical Services Group, Surgical Operations and HealthTrust Purchasing Group leaders to rapidly identify, curate and scale best practices across the company. - Leads performance review calls for operations with PI peers across the organization. - Collaborates with division and corporate groups to ensure consistency in approach and execution of operations performance improvement strategies across the company. - Manages indirect reports in multiple designated divisions remotely and in a matrix environment. - Coordinates division and corporate resources to ensure successful execution of established operations performance agenda. - Facilitates Rapid Design Sessions to identify performance opportunities and process improvements, including identification of best demonstrated practices. - Prioritizes PI operations work based upon the needs of the business and in accordance and alignment with company strategy. - Effectively negotiates and balances the needs of facility, division and group operations. - Serves as primary consultant to facility and division senior executives in performance improvement and implementation teams. - Drives business decisions through the use of analytics. - Drives improved operational outcomes through the development and deployment of standard toolkits, processes and clinical assessments. - Facilitates projects and conversations with Performance Improvement-focused peers in divisions and contributes to enterprise best practice library. - Recommends changes or improvements based on research and evidence to implement clinical best practices. - Works with PI Leadership to adjust PI strategies to respond to changing business needs. - Develops a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality. - Escalates issues to group, division or PI leadership as necessary * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
