Description Standard Qualifications: At Medical City Fort Worth There is a Difference Director of Cardiac Cath Lab ( RN ) Medical City Fort Worth is a 320 bed MAGNET Designated hospital located in the heart of Fort Worth, Texas. Medical City Fort Worth serves as a tertiary referral center for Tarrant County and numerous counties within a 90-mile radius. Medical City Fort Worth has an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI, and an Accredited Comprehensive Stroke program. The Cath Lab self-schedules their workdays and currently perform complex heart, vascular and endovascular procedures. Medical City Fort Worth's Cath Lab is leading the way in Tarrant County with their Structural Heart Program which includes Valvuloplasty, TAVR and Watchman Devices. The role of the Cardiac Cath Lab and EP lab and its' Director is to provide comprehensive Cardiac services to the community and physicians we serve. We perform a myriad of cardiovascular procedures and interventions. Left Heart Catheterizations, Right Heart Catheterizations, Coronary and peripheral interventions, temporary and Permanent pacemakers and ICDs, electrophysiology, AAA, TAVR, Watchman, etc. We have a STEMI program with a 30 minute response time. We have 5 Cardiac Catheterization Suites with the ability to perform many types of procedures in all 5. We have the capacity to perform as many as 30 procedures a day. We see anywhere from 250-300 patients a month. Most of our patients have a high level of acuity. Oversees the quality of the service line. Assists with service line growth strategies. Monitors NCDR registry reports and initiates actions to improve metrics as needed. Maintains a work culture where physicians and staff work collaboratively for an excellent patient experience.
