Summary of Key Responsibilities : The Research Nurse Manager is responsible for the overall day to day clinical operations of the research nurses. Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to: Clinical Duties Oversee and manage day-to-day activities of the Phase II/III research nurses and research assistantsOversee clinical trial-related activities completed/performed by the Research Nurse to assure completeness and accuracy as well as adherence to federal and state guidelinesOffer suggestions for improvement in processes and overall quality and monitors outcome of such if deficiencies are identifiedAssist with the process of training new research nursesProblem-solve clinical situations along with research nurses as they ariseAssess compliance of the research nursesMonitor patient enrollment at sites through weekly and monthly reporting.Identify opportunities and develop action plans as necessary to increase patient accrualAssist in development and tracking of quarterly goals for each research nurse and clinicMeet with physicians and administrators as needed to assess performance of clinicEvaluate staffing needs and provides optimal coverage of research officesProvide coverage and assistance with ongoing research at the clinics as neededCommunicate to the research nurses the overall performance standards and expectations day to dayMake frequent visits to the sitesInterview Research Nurse candidates and provides input to upper managementWork with other team members in Clinical Operations department to ensure communication and responsibility are effective among the two groups Administrative Duties Represent the company vision at the clinicsApprove planned Paid Time Off (PTO) and submits benefit time usage to HR per payroll scheduleResponsible for individual site goals, financial performance, quality assurance, oversight and contracted patient enrollmentAssist Directors to ensure continuing education and training to investigators and coordinatorsMeet with supervisor weekly and submit brief clinic summariesSubmit annual performance evaluations to supervisor for review and conduct the evaluations * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
