Description Standard Qualifications: Position Requirements Required Registration, Licensure or Certification l Current Licensure in the State of Kansas as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) l Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course, as specified in policy l For FT/PT RNs in 60810 - ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Course (ONS Chemo), as specified in policy l For RNs in 609 and 61310 - Successful completion of Dysrhythmia Exam within allotted time frame, as specified in policy l For RNs in 61310 - Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) verification course within allotted timeframe, as specified in policy Preferred Registration, Licensure or Certification l None Required Education or Experience l Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing Preferred Education or Experience l None Required Knowledge and Skills l Ability to utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care including, but not limited to, administering treatments and medications, interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating a plan of care, collaborating with other health care providers and providing education to patients and/or significant others l Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively l Possess personal computer skills l Ability to multi-task, delegate and prioritize l Possess problem solving and critical thinking skills l Ability to collaborate with other health care providers l Ability to educate patients and/or significant others Preferred Knowledge and Skills l Acute care experience * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
