Description Standard Qualifications: Cardiac Services - Telemetry - LPN The Staff LPN performs continuous monitoring of cardiac rhythms and performing various patient care activities as related to cardiac telemetry monitoring. The LPN will detect and document arrhythmias and perform therapeutic and preventative nursing procedures, incorporating fundamental biological and psychological principles in giving individualized care. Participates in developing preventative or long-term health plans for patients and/or families. Provides patient's family education that will enhance their knowledge of their disease process in order to maintain their health status and prevent advancement and/or deterioration of their disease process. Patient care will include all adolescents, adults and geriatric.
