Responsibilities of the RN in PACU: Manages the nursing care of all post-op patients who enter the PACU in support of HCA ethical and compliance principles and valuesWorks closely with the anesthesia department and assists in coordination of patient careResponsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting all aspects of patient careDelegates appropriate tasks to unlicensed personnel and provides required supervisionWorks closely with all health care providers to facilitate and coordinate efficient, effective, and quality healthcareEvaluates patient's signs and symptoms; and records and reports resultsSets priorities and modifies patient care in response to changing conditions by utilizing problem solving skills and exhibiting good judgmentCollaborates with physicians regarding patient progress towards the outcome attainment * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
