Description Standard Qualifications: Park Plaza & Plaza Specialty Hospitals - Houston, Texas An HCA Affiliated Hospital Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) - Cardiac Catheterization Lab CCL (Cath Lab) Located adjacent to the Texas Medical Center, Park Plaza and Plaza Specialty Hospitals offer the convenience of a community hospital with two distinct purposes. Since 1975, Park Plaza Hospital has been offering complete medical services, including surgery as well as outpatient, imaging and rehabilitation. Plaza Specialty Hospital, a hospital within a hospital, has been providing long-term acute care to those needing prolonged hospitalization and recovery since 1994. The Cardiac Cath Lab is located on the 2nd floor in the South Tower immediately adjacent to the Operating Room. The one-room Lab is equipped with advanced Radiology equipment and patient monitoring system. The unit is open from 7:00am-3:00pm for elective procedures. Emergency procedures are staffed with an on call team consisting of two team members, one of them being an RN and the second individual being an RN or CVRT. Park Plaza & Plaza Specialty Hospitals is currently accepting applications for Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) - Cardiac Catheterization Lab CCL (Cath Lab) RESPONSIBILITIES: Technologist will be able to perform duties in the Cardiac Cath Lab. These duties will include but not limited to assisting in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Ability to drive/pan table for all procedures. Ability to monitor all procedures. Ability to circulate all procedures. Employee will be responsible for knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety and related criteria for the adult and geriatric population.
