Description Standard Qualifications: Full-time Nights - 7p to 7a Medical City Denton is a 208-bed, high-quality, acute care hospital with more than 850 employees and 300 physicians. Serving the people of North Texas, MCD is a Level III Trauma Center, a Primary Stroke Center and an Accredited Cycle IV Chest Pain Center offering advanced open-heart surgery. Magnet® recognized for nursing excellence. Denton Regional's Heart and Vascular Unit, or HVU, is a 28-bed critical care telemetry unit for patients whose medical conditions warrant closer monitoring, but do not require continuous invasive monitoring. HVU is a "step-down" critical care unit that cares for patients with cardiac and vascular diagnoses. The Registered Nurse - Heart & Vascular Unit - RN is responsible for decisions and actions within the domain of nursing practice. Important aspects of this responsibility are the promotion of a safe and therapeutic environment for both the recipients and providers of nursing care; acquisition of specialized knowledge skills and additional formal education to provide specialized care; demonstration and validation of competence in nursing practice; clinical practice consistent with the policies, procedures and standards of this facility; and supervision of other staff as designated within the department. * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
