Description Standard Qualifications: Capital Regional Cancer Center , state-of-the-art, is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art care for patients diagnosed with cancer in a setting that is professional, compassionate and caring . At Capital Regional Cancer Center, we believe that cancer is personal. There are many kinds of cancer and everyone deals with this disease differently. Cancer care is complicated, often including surgery and chemotherapy in addition to radiation therapy. Our staff is trained to understand the needs of cancer patients, and are available to guide you on this journey of healing. Demonstrated successful analytic, problem solving, organizational and prioritization skills. General understanding of service line operations and clinical office procedures and practices; computer and filing systems; Knowledge of radiation oncology billing and coding preferred. Strong understanding and application of the business aspects of radiation oncology. Knowledgeable in health care informatics - including the resources, devices and methods to acquire, store and retrieve data. Tools include computers as well as clinical guidelines, current medical terminology, information and communication systems. Must be familiar with and committed to professional organization standards (i.e. ONS, ACOS, CoC, ASTRO) Has working knowledge of radiation safety principles and practices as well as current rules and regulations of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and other regulatory agencies. People-centric, influential leader, with an understanding and ability to apply these concepts to care delivery and employee relations. Highly effective team building, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Demonstrated effective visioning, forecasting, and strategic planning skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team setting. Budget and financial management skills; Ability to successfully motivate and engage others to achieve organizational objectives. Must have excellent customer service skills; Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, including public speaking and leading effective and efficient meetings. Has high level critical thinking and problem solving skills Works independently, but in collaboration with the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist.
