Description Standard Qualifications: Position Summary: Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) the Market Director of Education and Staff Development exemplifies professional nursing practice through expert education, consultation, research, staff development and management activities. The Market Director of Education and Staff Development coordinates the development, implementation and evaluation of the Education Plan. Responsible for fiscal, human resources, and operational functions in the Staff Development department and integration of educational services within overall hospital functions. Assumes leadership role in planning, organizing and implementation of educational services. Collaborates in decision-making structures and processes.
